Our trustees are selected for their expertise in social care, legal, financial and investment affairs. Up to eight trustees are appointed and meet approximately three times each year. There are sub committees dealing with applications, short listing as well as policy and publications.

As a charity we are registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (reg no 326476).
The trustees take their responsibilities very seriously and ensure that charity commission advice on best practice and compliance is discussed and where appropriate implemented.
We seek to remain at the forefront of professional grant making, whilst continuing to keep pace with changes in social care. To this end we maintain membership of the Association of Charitable Foundations.
In order to manage our diversified investment portfolio we use the services of a firm of professional investment advisors.
