Mark Morris

Mark has been Chair of Forbes since 2020, after joining the Board in 2019. He previously served as a trustee of HfT and Self Unlimited / CARE. Mark has had wide commercial experience since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Nigel Doggett

Nigel sits on the global leadership team at Belron International and has had a career in General Management after graduating in music at Oxford University.
He has been involved in the Learning Disability sector for much of his life and was a trustee at Hft for 12 years, where he is now a patron. Nigel and his family live in North Oxfordshire.

Helen Johnson

Helen initially trained as a Social Worker and is currently practicing as a Systemic Psychotherapist. She has been a Trustee for a pre-school and out of hours education provision and been a Trustee at Forbes since 2015.

Ian Johnson

A graduate of the University of Leicester, Ian qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse before becoming a specialist private client tax partner with Grant Thornton.
A member of the University of Leicester's governing body, Council, Ian is the University Treasurer chairing the key Finance and Infrastructure Committee.

Julie Riley

Julie has worked in Adult Social Care for over 30 years in both the voluntary and public sectors, working with adults who have learning disabilities, autism, profound and multiple disabilities, sensory impairment, mental health, and older people who have age related care and support needs.
Currently the Group Director for Care and Support at an arms-length, local authority trading company. Julie joined the Forbes board in 2021.

Claire Rintoul

Claire joined the Forbes Board in October 2021. Claire has worked for a range of causes throughout her career in the voluntary sector: homelessness, autism, mental health, counselling, children's hospice care and currently works with older people and people living with dementia. For the last twelve years Claire has been a charity CEO.

John Waite

John has been a trustee of Forbes since 2004. He has also served as a trustee for CARE/Self Unlimited since 1999 and as a trustee of Hft after it amalgamated with Self Unlimited until 2017. John was a commercial property solicitor until he retired in 2011.

Patrick Wallace

Patrick trained as a Psychiatric Nurse and Social Worker. He served as CEO for Four National Charities and was the UK representative on the European Association for Care at Home.
